A music video edit of clips from the 1966 movie, The Blue Max, set to music from Jerry Goldsmith’s music score.
This was a quick video assembly I did of the nifty aerial combat sequences from the 1966 movie, The Blue Max. The movie is a little hit-or-miss, but generally pretty good. All the aerial stuff features some nice cinematography and stunt teams doing some excellent flying.
The real highlight of the movie, though, is Jerry Goldsmith‘s masterpiece music score. I took one of his cues and edited the plane footage to it. I didn’t spend much time tweaking this one. Just thought it’d be cool for plane buffs, fans of Jerry’s score, or both.
Video is sourced from Twilight Time’s very nice limited edition blu-ray release. The video is in full 1080p.
