- I recently stumbled upon a fantastic music album by a group you've surely never heard of, which is a shame. If you are familiar with ES Posthumus (particularly the first album, Unearthed), you'll love the group called Globus, and their album Epicon. This is an utterly fantastic album, and is massive in scope and style (100 piece orchestra, 70 piece chorus and a well layered rock edge). It's an album that easily fits my film score tastes in it's epic and cinematic style. I'd actually say it's better than ES Posthumus' Unearthed album. I've been giving it plenty of play over the last couple days. Of course, it can be ordered in physical, non-DRM form on CD from the always excellent CDBaby.com.

- Good grief, here's a story on an Iranian cargo ship that was essentially a giant dirty bomb headed for Israel, which by happenstance got hijacked near the Horn of Africa.
- Gotta love those odd little pieces of history, like the first Miss Berlin beauty pageant in 1990 after the Berlin Wall fell
