OK, Nothing Like Christmas (7) and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (10) have been added to my 2008 Films list. I'll remind folks that the order of items in that list is not yet final (the top handful are in a total state of flux, actually). I'll try and finalize my 2008 lists and favorites within the next couple weeks. Incidentally, Nothing Like The Holidays gets the dubious distinction of being the 100th 2008 movie I saw theatrically (not counting multiple viewings of stuff).
The new Doctor will be announced tomorrow (so with the time difference, by the time you are reading this is will probably already have been announced).
Wow, here's some good motivation for me to want to move to Lafayette, Louisianna. And that 50mb bandwidth is symmetrical!
Congrats to Eleventh Hour, which score it's highest ratings. Looks like it may survive if it can continue this uptrend.

Here's a not-quite-new interview with Ron Moore from a little while ago about Battlestar & Caprica, etc. Only two more weeks (from today) until the final half of Battlestar season 4 begins to air!

And another one bites the dust. Say goodbye to Tweeter. I can't say that I shopped there much in recent years. I used to be a pretty loyal customer to United Audio Center. Things went a bit downhill, slowly, once that chain was sold to Tweeter, and I slowly lost interest in the stores. Still, it's a bit sad to see the chain die.
Eleventh Hour has gotten a partial pickup for 5 more episodes. It's a pretty good show, and it would be nice to see it survive.

Google has bought up 20 million historical news pages in their continuing effort to bring more and more info online.
I've stumbled into the first glitches on my new Panasonic BD35 Blu-Ray player. The sync of the on-screen video for stuff like the on-screen commentaries for the new X-Files movie discs that came out today has trouble staying sync'd with the audio. I must say that otherwise it's been a fantastic player so far. And the new X-Files movie Blu-Ray discs are very nice at first impression. Guess I'll wait for the next firmware update. ;-)
