The Chemical Brothers: Don’t Think
A wild, trippy and fun concert film. Sure to be fun for any fellow Chemical Brothers fans.
-
The Artist
A charming and unique period piece, in both setting and style. Highly enjoyable. Recommended for pretty much everyone.
-
The Adventures Of Tintin
A movie I wanted to like, but definitely did not. One of my least favorite Spielberg films. A huge disappointment. By the end, I was just waiting for it to be over.
-
Contraband
A halfway decent grimy character drama. A strong cast helps make the so-so script and somewhat annoying production work well enough.
-
The Darkest Hour
A movie that had nothing but potential. A great core idea that’s ultimately squandered by genre cliche in the last act. Still, it doesn’t completely destroy the film.
-
The Sitter
For all of its raunch, this is actually more sweet and sentimental than I expected. OK for what it is: a hard R-rated variation of Adventures In Babysitting.
-
Young Adult
A movie that reunites director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody. One that refuses to comply with convention.
