- Here’s a very cool new teaser promo for season 4 of Battlestar
- Speaking of Battlestar, there’s finally some actual info (and artwork even) for the delayed release of the season 3 DVD set.
- Here’s a semi-techie article about the death of high fidelity. I’ve seen more than enough examples of what they are talking about. ‘Tis sad.
- Excellent. Sony has put Gattaca back on the release schedule for Blu-Ray release. Definitely picking that one up.
- Speaking of high-def discs, HighDefDigest.com has put up their list of best and worst high def discs of 2007. A good list that I can’t argue with. I definitely agree with his choice of Blade Runner as release of the year. Boy do I agree with that. Close Encounters is also deserving. I’ve been wanting to pick up 2001, but have been waiting for it to fall into one of the many 2-for-1 deals of late, but it hasn’t. I might just pick it up at shelf price anyway. It’s been getting rave reviews. I’m anxious to check it out.
- And speaking of Close Encounters, both it and Back to the Future were accepted into the national film registry this year. Neato. Then again, so did Dances With Wolves…
