Ponderings For 2007-06-12
- RIP: Mr. Wizard (Don Herbert)
- No big shock here, but Veronica Mars is OFFICIALLY canceled. Was 99.9% sure that it was gonna be that way anyway. A feature film jump would be most cool. Might as well continue to follow in Joss Whedon’s footsteps and try for it. Speaking of following in Joss’s footsteps, there’s also word in some of the reports of Rob Thomas in talks with DC Comics about a Veronica Mars comic. I’ll take my Veronica Mars fix in any form he can come up with. And yes, my Veronica Mars write-up is still pending. I wanna spend some time to make it good, and keep having trouble setting aside enough time to finish it off right.
- Interesting. The Dead Zone has moved production from Vancouver to Montreal for the upcoming sixth season. I just picked up the season 5 DVD set and am about to start watching it (I’m current through the end of season 4). As long as they don’t lose Nicole deBoer from the cast (which they didn’t), they can move the production and shake things up as much as they want.
- Safari for Windows is off to a flying start
- A funny use of nested logic in geography
- A depressingly insane story of overzealous families and religion
- And you think toilet water isn’t clean?
- An open letter to parents who bring little kids to horror films (language warning)
- Release info for Numb3rs: Season 3 on DVD. Look forward to any cool extras they include.
