Ponderings For 2007-05-18
- It’s official: Veronica Mars is history. Sniff sniff. That means this coming Tuesday’s two episode season finale is actually the series finale. We’ll miss you, Veronica. You were too young to die.
- The new AACS protection is cracked a week before it hits shelves. I love these guys. Die, AACS, die.
- “In a dark underworld, ruled by fear…” Jason Statham squares off against Jet Li in “War.” Pass and a half. Yuck.
- Now here’s a spiffy looking monitor
- What kind of insane freak would actually use one of these things?
- The Sarah Conner Chronicles gets pushed back to midseason by Fox. One more move to guarantee it’ll be short lived. I’m placing my money on cancellation after 6 episodes. Heck, that’s being generous for Fox. It’ll probably be more like 4 episodes.
- Whoops
- If you think YOU live in a bad neighborhood…
- How not to ship a plasma TV, indeed.
- I’ve added Georgia Rules (7) and Shrek The Third (8) to the 2007 Film Order list
Random Fact Of The Day: When Albert Einstein died, his final words died with him. The nurse at his side didn’t understand German.
Dialog Of The Day: “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” (Inigo Montoya, duh, played by Mandy Patinkin in The Princess Bride)
Video Of The Day: This is one of the most mind-blowing videos I have ever seen. Possibly THE most mind-blowing video I’ve seen. My jaw is permanently dislodged from hitting the floor so hard. The level of control this dude has is astounding. Truly amazing. Stupendous. Absolutely unbelievable.
