Ponderings For 2007-05-09
- So, word has it that the revamped Veronica Mars season 4 stands a chance at being picked up by CW. Here’s hoping. And if Gilmore Girls has to gracefully lay down their lives in order to save Veronica Mars, then I raise a glass in their honor. Within a week or so, we’ll know the fate of Veronica Mars one way or the other. BTW, I completely disagree with their comment about Veronica Mars having a creative downturn this season. It’s been fantastic, as always.
- Speaking of things ending, it’s sad to hear that the official Buffy & Angel magazine is coming to an end.
- So, Bermuda is going RFID on all vehicles. Interesting.
- I’m losing track of what new Star Wars projects Lucas is and is not doing
- How to REALLY take the SAT
- Here’s a nifty picture. Granted, I have a thing for violent weather images.
- An interesting project: The Encyclopedia Of Life
- Dell & HP announce their new (Santa Rosa-based) line of laptops
- I added Black Book (9) to the 2007 Film Order list
Random Fact Of The Day: The Imperial Throne of Japan has been occupied by the same family for the last thirteen hundred years.
Dialog Of The Day: “If I’m right about this, I could save a man’s life. Do you know what that would do for my book sales?” (Gale Weathers, played by Courtney Cox in Scream)
Video Of The Day: Watch it long enough and it’s almost strangely hypnotic. Then the voices in your head start demanding blood and carnage.
