Ponderings For 2007-02-04
- Part 1 and Part 2 of a great new interview with Tron writer/director Steven Lisberger. (I was at that U of I film festival screening they talk about in the interview)
- So, did you remember to wear your gorilla suit on the 1st?
- Mark your calendars. Jane Espenson’s new show (starring Andy Richter), Andy Barker, PI, debuts on March 15.
- The amusing departing blog entry from Microsoft’s Jim Allchin
- The final 1.0 version of PowerShell for Windows Vista has been released
- And you thought you were a big baby
- A free duplicate items finder/eliminator for Outlook. Haven’t tried it, but it looks pretty good. Nice to see a freeware one that might be worth using.
- The Vista launch looks like it may be a bit spicier than previous launches
- Plenty of fun details for the upcoming Buffy “Season 8″ comic book series
- Scott Adams is at it again. This time, he’s amusingly coming off as more intelligent than a scientist slamming him for his (self admitted) uneducated theories. Too funny.
- Looks like the take-over of camera sales by the ones of the digital variety has finally peaked
- Given how long it took Dell to FINALLY start using AMD processors, this should come as no big surprise
- Good grief. Sometimes one has to wonder.
Dialog Of The Day: “We have done the impossible and that makes us mighty.” (Macolm Reynolds, played by Nathan Fillion in Firefly 1.01)
Video Of The Day: So, you wanna find that ultimate comfy car to drive around?
