Joseph Stefano Dies
SCI FI Wire - Joseph Stefano, co-creator of the SF anthology series The Outer Limits, has died at the age of 84, Variety reported. Stefano passed away Aug. 25 at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The cause of death wasn’t disclosed.
Sad news. Stefano is the legendary mind behind much of The Outer Limits, a series I am very fond of (I’m one of those rare sci-fi nerds who prefers The Outer Limits, both the old and new series, to The Twilight Zone). Stefano had also had minor interactions with shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation, the new Outer limits, etc. He was more directly related to projects like Swamp Thing, and of course the other thing he is most notable for - Psycho.
